Green sorrel and nettle soup
Ingredients
  • chicken breast - 1 medium
  • water - 2 l
  • nettle (choose only young shoots) - 1 bunch
  • sorrel - 1 bunch
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • carrot - 1 pc.
  • potatoes - 3 pcs.
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
  • green onion, salt, sour cream - optional
  • chicken eggs (for serving) - 2 pcs.
This soup is very useful for everyone due to the content of a large amount of vitamins in greens (vitamin A, B vitamins, ascorbic, oxalic, malic and citric acids, iron, copper, etc.). It is also safe for those who are on a low calorie diet. Stock up on vitamins, not calories!

1. Wash all vegetables well in warm water.

2. Cook the broth: cook the chicken meat until tender. Take out and cut into pieces.

3. While the broth is cooking, we do not waste time: we clean and cut all the vegetables. Fry the carrots and onions in a frying pan (10-15 minutes).

4. Then we process the nettle with boiling water, grind it.

6. Add the prepared greens (step 4-5) to the soup and boil for about 5 minutes.
