Casserole with apples and almonds
Ingredients
  • 250 g low-fat cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp semolina
  • 2-3 apples
  • juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 cm fresh ginger
  • 3 tbsp Sahara
  • 25 g almond flakes
  • salt
  • butter
  • semolina
  • powdered sugar
A delicious casserole that kids love.

Recipe for casserole with apples and almonds

1. Peel and core apples, cut into slices. Mix with lemon juice, lemon zest and sugar. Set aside for 1 hour.

2. Lubricate the baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour or semolina.

3. Separate the whites from the yolks and beat with a pinch of salt until soft peaks.

4. Grind the yolks with cottage cheese and sugar. Add semolina, almond flakes and mix. Fold in gently beaten egg whites.

5. Cut some apples into small cubes and add to the curd mass.

6. Put the curd mass into molds. Put the remaining apple slices on top, sprinkle with almond flakes and powdered sugar.

7. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 35-40 minutes.

8. When serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
