Roasted Young Cabbage
Ingredients
  • 2 young cabbages
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 ml cream (22% fat)
  • 1 leek (white part)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 large carrot
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 150 g cheese (it is better to use hard varieties)
  • 3 art. tablespoons of vegetable oil
This is a dish that can be both an excellent side dish and a light lunch or dinner. Baked young cabbage is very easy to prepare and will surely please you and your family.

First you need to prepare the vegetables: cut the leek into rings, grate the carrots, peel and chop the garlic, peel the cabbage from the upper leaves and cut into four equal parts. Boil eggs.

In a well-heated frying pan, fry the onions and carrots until golden brown, add garlic, cream and breadcrumbs to them. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook for another three minutes, until the cream becomes thick, after that, we introduce a finely chopped egg into the sauce.

Fry the cabbage in a separate pan for a few minutes on each side.

Grease a deep baking sheet or glass baking dish with oil. We put fried cabbage on the bottom, pour plenty of sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180 C. Our tasty and healthy young baked cabbage is ready to delight you and your family!
