Appetizer with mackerel

Ingredients
  • salted mackerel - 1 fillet
  • jacket-boiled potatoes - 3 pcs.
  • fresh cucumber - 1 pc.
  • thick sour cream - 2 tablespoons
  • French mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • salt pepper
Original and very tasty appetizer with fish. You can use not only mackerel, but also herring (or sprats in general).

Recipe for appetizer with mackerel

We cut the potatoes and cucumbers into cubes (approximately as on Olivier).

Add sour cream, mustard, pepper and salt to taste to potatoes and cucumber.

We fill the tartlets (it is best to use either sand tartlets or cheese tartlets, since they keep their shape the longest and do not get wet).

Lay the fish pieces on top of the lettuce.

If you do not like tartlets, replace them with halves of boiled eggs (the yolk can be put into the filling).

Important: before salting the filling, try a piece of fish, if the fish is well salted, you can not add salt at all.
