Egg fried in a baguette
Snacks
- Egg - 2 pcs.
- Baton - 2 slices
- Salt - to taste
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Oil - as needed
Recipe for fried egg
Put a frying pan with oil on the fire to heat up.
Carefully cut two equal slices 2 cm thick from the loaf, and cut the pulp around the perimeter from the middle with the sharp end of the knife.
Put the loaf on a preheated pan and let it warm up a little for half a minute.
Gently break an egg into the middle of each slice so as not to break the integrity of the yolk, and fry for several minutes over low heat.
Carefully pry off a piece of loaf with a spatula so as not to break the fried egg crust from below, and with a light and deft movement turn the loaf onto the pan with the unfried side.
Salt and pepper to taste and fry the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on the other side until the egg and loaf are browned. You can sprinkle grated cheese and chopped herbs on top.
