Cherry cake with marzipan
Ingredients
  • 200 grams of butter
  • 15 teaspoons vanilla sugar
  • 350 grams of wheat flour
  • 5 chicken eggs
  • 400 grams of cherries
  • Half a teaspoon of salt
  • 150 grams of granulated sugar
  • 10 grams of baking powder
  • 250 grams of natural yogurt
Cherry marzipan muffin is a great variety for everyday baking. The great thing about this cake is that it only takes 20 minutes to make.

Beat warm butter with a mixer with granulated sugar, a pinch of salt and vanilla sugar until a uniform mass.

Sift flour and baking powder.

Cut the marzipan into small pieces and add to the flour.

Add the eggs one at a time to the butter, continue to beat with a mixer at low speed.

Now gradually add flour and yogurt to the butter mixture. Beat for about a minute more.

We take pitted cherries and add to the dough, mix everything with an ordinary spoon so as not to crush the berries.

Preheat oven to 150 degrees.

Line a baking dish with glassine and fill it with the resulting dough.

We send the cake to bake in the oven for 1.5 hours. Readiness can be checked with a knife, if the dough sticks, then you need to bake further.

We take out the finished cupcake from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar, let it cool a little and serve it to the table.
