Verguns on sour cream

- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups of flour
- 50 grams of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 50 grams of butter
Recipe for verguna with sour cream
Combine baking powder and sugar, pour sour cream and mix thoroughly. Combine the beaten egg separately with sour cream, also pour the melted butter on the egg and mix everything thoroughly.
Introduce flour in small portions, and at the same time, mix well. Thus, knead the dough, which then cover and leave for 30 minutes.
Prepare a suitable pan, pour vegetable oil into it and put on fire. When the oil is hot, start forming the verguns and frying them. In boiling oil, fry each alternately on both sides.
A delicious treat is ready. When kneading the dough, keep an eye on the amount of flour, it may be required less, due to the use of sour cream in the recipe, which is thicker than kefir. The use of baking powder, and not soda, is also connected with this.
