Veggie burger
Ingredients
  • 4 soy steaks
  • 4 wholemeal flour buns
  • 100 g curd cheese
  • 1 tomato
  • 4 slices mimolette cheese (can be substituted with edam cheese)
  • 1/4 cucumber
  • 10 pieces. radish
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons tartar sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Wash the tomato, radish, cucumber, dry and cut into thin circles. Cut the buns in half lengthwise and toast under the grill.
  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the soy steaks for 5 minutes on each side.
  • Spread the lower parts of the buns with curd cheese, put cucumber slices on top, and steak on them. Spread tartar sauce on the steak, cover with radish, top with a basil leaf, tomato circle and a slice of cheese. Cover the burgers with the tops of the buns and serve with green salad or chips.

    Recommended wine: Beaujolais blanc. Dry white wine with a lemon-floral aroma, notes of apples, pears and nuts on the palate, light, with a pleasant aftertaste.
