Ingredients
  • Plums - 1 kg
  • Water - 1 glass
  • Sugar - 1.5 kg
Well, already the middle of August, the plum begins to ripen, which means it's time to make plum jam.

We take ripe plums, they should not be overripe or defective.

We take out the seeds from the plums, dividing them into halves.

We make sugar syrup.

Transfer plums to syrup. Please note that the plum must be completely covered in sugar syrup. Therefore, it is sometimes necessary to shake the dishes in which the plum is boiled with smooth movements.

Cook the plum jam on the fire until it boils. When the jam boils, make the weakest fire, wait 10 minutes, and remove from the stove.

Let the jam cool down at room temperature and return to the fire. This time, cook until done.

While the jam is cooking, prepare the jars. Put the jam in jars while it is hot.
