Ingredients
  • 1 duck
  • 5 potatoes
  • 1 head of onion
  • 0.5 kg fresh mushrooms (preferably champignons)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Butter
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

We clean the head of the onion from the husk, and then finely chop it.

We clean the mushrooms, wash and cut into small pieces.

We heat the pan, and fry the onion with mushrooms in butter, add salt to taste.

Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into cubes or slices (as you like). We boil water and throw chopped potatoes into it, cook for 10 minutes, then drain the water.

We grab the duck with both hands and thoroughly wash and dry it. Next, take the butter and grease the carcass, also rub with pepper and salt (you can use your favorite seasonings).

Now we take the fried mushrooms and mix with half the potatoes, and fill the carcass with this tightly and full.

We sew the incision with threads (you can use skewers or toothpicks) and grease the duck with honey.

We grease a baking sheet with butter and put our duck on it.

Spread the remaining potatoes around the duck.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the duck for two hours, depending on the size of the carcass.

At the end of cooking, we take out the baked duck from the oven and get rid of the thread.

We serve to the table by laying the duck on a beautiful dish and putting potatoes around it.
