Cottage cheese casserole is a tasty and healthy product. We all remember this taste from childhood, and for sure each of us remembered how unusually his mother or grandmother cooked this dish. Each housewife has her own special recipe, her own zest, which makes the casserole tender and delicious. All these desserts are based on one very old recipe, known in ancient Rome. For casseroles, products that are always in the house, such as sour milk, curd mass, eggs and sugar, are most often used, so this gentle dish can be prepared quickly and easily.

In the Middle Ages, the Slavs could spend a whole day preparing casseroles: first they made cottage cheese from yogurt, squeezed it for a long time and cooked the cheese. Now that every housewife has a refrigerator and a lot of home appliances and appliances, you can cook a cottage cheese casserole much faster. Even if you decide to make cottage cheese yourself, you just need to heat the sour milk and strain it through cheesecloth and a sieve.

You can cook the casserole in different ways - make it salty or sweet, add honey, fruits, berries, syrup, cinnamon, vanillin, powdered sugar - as you like. But when cooking, you need to follow a few simple rules:

To prepare the casserole, take a few apples, a pound of cottage cheese, three chicken eggs, sugar, sour cream, butter and vanillin. Peel the apples, cut them into slices and place on a baking sheet. Then mix the cottage cheese, 2 eggs, sour cream, sugar and vanillin, and cover the apples with this mass.

Brush the casserole with beaten egg, sprinkle with cinnamon and place in the preheated oven. In order for the casserole not to burn, you just need to make sure that the temperature is not higher than 180 degrees. After 50 minutes, turn off the oven, leave the casserole to cool for another 15 minutes, and that's it - you can take out the finished dish, cut and serve.
