Cake "Favorite"
Bakery
- 300 g cottage cheese (9%)
- 2 eggs
- 100 g sour cream (21% fat)
- 25 g margarine (melted)
- 50 g sugar
- top teaspoon baking soda
- a pinch of salt
- flour
- apple jam (thick) - about 300 g;
- 300 g boiled condensed milk
- 100 g butter
Very simple cake in terms of ingredients. And very tasty! We make cakes based on cottage cheese, and as a cream we use thick apple jam and condensed milk.
When I was little, a similar cake was sold in our city in grocery stores (remember there were such departments - “cooking”). This yummy was called “Summer” pie.
I won’t say that the 1:1 recipe is the same, but everyone who tried my cake liked it very much and reminded me of childhood))).
The recipe for the cake "beloved"
Grind cottage cheese with sugar, add eggs, sour cream, soda (repay), melted margarine and salt. Slowly adding flour, knead the dough. Flour will leave (approximately) 3-3.5 cups.
Divide the dough into 4-6 equal parts. Roll out either round or rectangular cakes. Thickness: about 3mm.
We spread the cakes on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Pierce with a fork.
Bake until done. Temperature 180-200 degrees. Baking time 8-10 minutes (we send the baking sheet to a well-heated oven).
When the cakes have cooled, we grease them in this order: the bottom cake is jam, the second is condensed milk (mix thoroughly with softened butter), the third is jam, and the top of the cake is condensed milk again. Coat the sides with the rest of the condensed milk. Recently I made a cake not from 4, but from 6 cakes - I liked it even more (the number of products was the same, I just rolled the cakes thinner).
If desired, sprinkle with nuts.
