Meatballs with cabbage
Ingredients
  • minced meat - 600 gr;
  • rice - 1 cup;
  • cabbage - 200 gr;
  • tomato juice - 400 ml;
  • garlic - 2 teeth;
  • salt, pepper and sugar.
Such a dish as meatballs is rightfully considered one of the favorite homemade dishes. But not everyone knows the recipe for this dish with the addition of cabbage. They can be served with a fresh salad or mashed potatoes. Meatballs do not have a high calorie content, so they can be safely served for lunch, and not be afraid to spoil the figure.

Salt and pepper the minced meat, then add the already pre-boiled rice there. Finely chop the cabbage and add it to the minced rice. Everything must be mixed thoroughly. Roll up small balls from the resulting mass and fry on both sides in a hot frying pan with oil. Pour meatballs with tomato juice and add spices, or sugar and garlic, to taste. Stew this dish on low heat for about an hour. If there is not enough gravy, then feel free to add water there, or, if left, tomato juice. Sour cream is perfect for such meatballs.
