Cheese cookies with nuts
Ingredients
  • 100 gr. cheese (you can use different varieties, for example, Edam, Gouda or Camembert)
  • 1 chicken egg
  • 2 gr. baking powder dough
  • ¼ tsp ground white pepper
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 10 gr. peanut
  • 20 ml cream (10%)
  • 150 gr. wheat flour
  • 100 gr. butter
  • 10 gr. pistachios
  • ¼ tsp sweet red pepper
Cheese-flavored airy cookies are something new, be sure to try. When baking cookies, you can use almost any cheese.

Cut the cheese into small pieces.

Take a bowl and beat the egg in it.

Mix flour with baking powder and pour into a blender, add cheese cubes, butter, half a beaten egg and spices.

Beat the mixture until you get a uniform crumb. Pour the resulting mixture on the table and knead the dough with your hands, after which we send it to the refrigerator for an hour.

While the dough is in the refrigerator, prepare the nuts. We clean the pistachios and chop them with a knife along with the peanuts.

In the remains of a beaten egg, add 1 tbsp. cream.

We take out our dough from the refrigerator and knead it with our hands, after which we roll it into a thin layer - ~ 3 mm, it is best to roll it out on baking paper.

Using special molds, cut out cookies, remove excess dough and grease everything with an egg, and decorate with chopped nuts.

 We bake cookies in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake until a fairly rich golden color is obtained. But still, you should not overdry, as the cheese taste will disappear.
