Cheesecakes with greens
Ingredients
  • 600 g dry dense cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g grated semi-hard cheese (Russian, Emmental, Gouda)
  • 1 large bunch of any greens (dill, parsley, tarragon, cilantro)
  • 4 tbsp. l. crackers
  • 3 art. l. flour
  • 7-8 Art. l. vegetable oil for frying
  • 200 g sour cream for serving
  • large handful of lettuce leaves to serve
  • salt
  • pepper
Cottage cheese is the main supplier of calcium, which strengthens bones, hair, nails. In combination with an egg, cottage cheese supplies the body with proteins and healthy proteins, and with the addition of greens, it acquires vitamins C, F and B, which scientists call “growth vitamins”.

Recipe for cheesecakes with herbs

1. Mix cottage cheese with chopped herbs, egg, grated cheese and breadcrumbs. Add salt, pepper and knead everything well to get a homogeneous mass.

2. Blind cheesecakes from the curd mass and roll them in flour.

3. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan and fry cheesecakes in it for 3-4 minutes on each side. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 10 minutes.

4. Serve hot syrniki with lettuce and sour cream.
