Ingredients
  • Chicken, beef or pork fillet - 0.5 kg
  • Bulgarian pepper - 300 g
  • Potatoes 500 g
  • Carrots - 150 g
  • Onion - 150 g
  • Vegetable oil
  • Bay leaf
  • Peppercorns - 5 pcs.
  • Salt
  • Flour - 5 full tbsp. spoons
  • Milk - 50 ml
  • Chicken eggs - 1 pc.
Soup from dumplings is prepared very simply, the main thing is that the dumplings do not boil soft, otherwise you will get porridge. To do this, make the dough thicker.

Cut the fillet into small cubes. Dip in water and cook for 1 hour, removing the foam from time to time.

In the meantime, finely chop the onion.

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Remove seeds from bell pepper and chop into strips.

Peel and cut potatoes into cubes.

Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil.

Now let's make dough for dumplings. Beat eggs and mix with milk. Then gradually add flour and salt a little.

When 1 hour has passed since the start of cooking the meat, add potatoes and pepper to it, at this moment salt and add spices to taste.

Cook for 5 minutes and add the roasted carrots and onions.

Bring the soup to a boil, using a teaspoon, add dumplings to the boiling broth.

After the dumplings, add the bay leaf and cook for another 5 minutes.

Taste and add more if needed.
