Bechamel sauce
Ingredients
  • Butter - 25 gr.
  • Milk - 300 ml.
  • Flour - 25 gr.
  • Thyme - 2 sprigs
  • Onion - 1 small head
  • 1 bay leaf
  • a pinch of nutmeg
  • Parsley - 1 sprig
  • Pepper and salt to taste
The sauce goes well with fish (best for lasagna), mushrooms, pasta and meat. In this recipe, you will learn how to make bechamel sauce.

Pour milk into a saucepan, add onion, greens, nutmeg, chopped into 4 parts, season all this with pepper and salt to taste.

Slowly bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat, cover with a lid and let it brew for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then pass through a sieve.

Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour and cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes. Then, remove from heat and gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Return to the fire, bring to a boil and cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
