Ingredients
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 grams vanillin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 10-15 strawberries
Very tasty and easy to prepare sour cream mousse.

Place sour cream, rum, vanillin and sugar in a mixer bowl and beat until a very thick foam is formed. Gelatin must be poured into a suitable dish, pour 1/4 cup of cold water and send to a water bath until completely dissolved. After the gelatin is completely dissolved, carefully pour it into the sour cream mixture. And beat everything again with a mixer.

Place the cream in the mixer bowl and beat. In order for them to easily whip into a thick foam, they must be well cooled before whipping. Next, carefully and gradually introduce the cream into a mass of sour cream and gelatin. Whisk everything thoroughly. Mousse is ready. Put it in a beautiful vase, cover it with cling film and put the mousse in the refrigerator to solidify.

Wash strawberries thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels. Cut the strawberries lengthwise so that you can put the mousse in them. Next, lay the strawberries beautifully on a suitable dish and use a pastry syringe to decorate it with a cooled mousse. Also, sour cream mousse can be served in special bowls. Decorate its surface with any berries or fruits.
