Plum cake with chocolate
Bakery
- Soft plum (you can take both dark and light) - 8-10 pcs.
- Butter - half a pack
- Flour - about one and a half cups
- Sugar - 200 g
- Cocoa powder - 1/4 tbsp.
- A pinch of vanillin
- Baking powder sachet
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Chicken egg - 1 pc.
- Milk - 1/2 tbsp.
- Powdered sugar - 25 g

1. Plums must be washed, cut into halves, remove the stalks and seeds.
2. Sift the flour. Make a well and add baking powder. Add salt and a pinch of vanilla.
3. Separately rub the butter and sugar thoroughly. Add cocoa powder and egg. Mix.
4. Add part of the flour mass to the mixture of eggs and sugar, mix. Add some more milk, mix again. Again a little flour, milk and the rest of the flour mixture. Be sure to remember to mix everything after adding the ingredients in portions.
5. Prepare a round baking dish.
It is believed that silicone molds can not be lubricated, but the masters advise in any case to butter the mold directly or covered with parchment with a piece of butter.
6. The dough is placed in a mold, plums are placed on top, slightly pressing each half into the dough. Everything is sprinkled with sugar.
7. In an oven heated to a temperature of 185-200 degrees, the baking process takes 45-50 minutes.
The readiness of the cake can be judged by using a wooden stick.
Be careful: do not remove the cake from the mold immediately after baking. Let cool.
Due to the beautiful brown color of the main part of the cake and appetizing plums peeking out of the chocolate, the cake will be a wonderful decoration for your family meal. Powdered sugar will be a great decoration.
