Chocolate chip cookies with hazelnuts
Ingredients
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 10 allspice peas
  • 1 tsp coffee beans
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 200 gr. Butter
  • ½ cup dark muscovado sugar
  • 100 gr. hazelnut
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 chicken egg
  • 5 cloves
Delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies with hazelnuts, which takes about 1 hour to prepare, not counting the time for chilling the dough.

We break the cinnamon and put it in a coffee grinder, just add the rest of the spices and coffee beans. Grind everything into powder.

Sift flour together with spices and cocoa powder, add vanilla sugar.

Cut the cold butter into pieces and add to the flour mixture, now using a fork or knife, chop the butter so that crumbs are obtained.

Add sugar, salt and beaten egg, then mix everything quickly. Grind the nuts a little and also add to the batch.

Cover the resulting dough with cling film and send it to the freezer for 15 minutes.

We divide the chilled dough into several parts and form them into sausages no more than 3 cm thick. We wrap these sausages in cling film and send them back to the refrigerator for another 3 hours.

Chilled sausages are cut into pieces of 1.5 cm using a knife heated in boiling water.

Lay the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake our chocolate chip cookies for 20 minutes. 10 minutes after the start of cooking, the cookies must be turned over.
