After reading this recipe, you will once again see that cooking charlotte is very simple. Mix the egg and granulated sugar, then add baking soda (don't forget to quench it with vinegar!). Pour the sifted flour into the bowl and stir. We do not recommend using a mixer for this, as the dough is very tender and does not tolerate rough handling. The consistency of the finished dough should resemble thick sour cream. Make sure there are no lumps left in it.
Now it's the turn of the apples. For charlotte, it is best to choose fruits with a sweet and sour taste. It is not necessary to peel apples at all. Simply cut them into slices and spread evenly across the bottom of your baking dish. Then fill the apples with dough and put in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees. The cake is baked for no more than half an hour and it turns out incredibly tasty.
