Fish soup with shrimps
Ingredients
  • 800 gr. fresh cod
  • 1 egg white
  • 300 grams of potatoes
  • 100 grams (2 medium heads) onions
  • 200 gr. peeled shrimp
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • A quarter teaspoon of saffron
  • 200 gr. carrots
  • 200 grams of root celery
  • 10 gr. dill
By preparing shrimp fish soup according to this recipe, you will be able to use all parts of the fish, so that nothing is wasted.

Take a cod and cut off all the fins and tail. Separate the fillet from all bones and skin.

We put the fillet aside, and pour the remaining parts of the fish with 2-3 liters of water, add the peeled vegetables and put on fire. Bring the liquid to a boil, remove all the foam, reduce the heat and cook for another 35-40 minutes, do not cover the pan with a lid.

We take out vegetables and fish from the broth and add pre-whipped protein. Bring the liquid to a boil so that the remaining particles of the fish seize with the protein, and filter.

Cut the fillet into small pieces.

Add chopped potatoes and saffron to the broth, also add salt.

We put the pan on the fire and cook almost until the potatoes are ready, after which we pour in the fish fillet and shrimp. Bring the soup to a boil, and then remove it from the stove.

Serve the soup to the table, decorating with greens.
