Marinated fish

Marinated fish
Ingredients
  • Fish fillet (in my case halibut)
  • 4 onion heads
  • 3-4 medium carrots
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 bay leaves
  • half a lemon
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • Olive oil
  • Celery
  • Parsley
  • Salt, pepper and spices to taste
Fish cooked under the marinade is juicy and rich, acquiring a unique taste. Time for cooking fish under the marinade is enough for no more than 1 hour.

marinated fish recipe

1

Peel the onion and cut it into half rings. We heat the pan with olive oil and put the chopped onion on it, sauté over low heat.

2

In the meantime, grate the carrots on a medium or large grater and add to the onion. Add a couple of bay leaves.

3

We take the fish fillet and cut it into large pieces and lay it on the bottom of the pan. On top of the fish we pour a layer of fried carrots and fish.

4

Pepper, salt and add your favorite spices. Close the lid and start to simmer the fish over low heat.

5

We take a lemon and cut it into cubes right with the peel, then put it on the marinade.

6

Chop the greens and sprinkle over the lemon.

7

Peel the tomato and cut it into cubes and put it on the marinade.

8

Add finely chopped garlic and simmer over low heat until tender.
