  • Pork knuckle - 2 pcs.
  • Ground black pepper
  • Rosemary and basil
  • Ketchup - 0.5 tbsp.
  • Mayonnaise - 1 tbsp.
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp.
  • One clove of garlic
Pork knuckle baked in the oven is a fairly popular dish in Germany and the Czech Republic. Preparing the knuckle is quite simple, but it takes a lot of time. And to get the original taste of this dish, there is no need to travel to other countries.

Clean, wash and dry the pork knuckle.

Prepare marinade. To do this, mix ground black pepper, rosemary, basil, ketchup, mayonnaise, olive oil and crushed garlic.

Lubricate the shank well with the prepared marinade and leave to brew for 30 minutes, this will be enough, but the longer the better.

Put the knuckle in the marinade into a baking tray, cover with foil and bake until cooked (2 - 2.5 hours), until a golden crust appears and the meat begins to separate from the bone.
