Recipe for roll with olive filling from orange-olive dough
First, soak the sesame seeds.
Next, start preparing the dough: in a suitable bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Mix the olive oil and orange juice and pour into the flour in a thin stream, kneading the dough. Wrap the finished dough in cling film and leave.
Next is the filling. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onion in it for a few minutes, add the olives and oregano to it and saute for another minute, remove from the heat, add the mint and pepper.
The dough must be divided into 4 koloboks, roll each of them into an oval cake about 12 by 25 cm. Lay the filling on the cakes and roll up the rolls, pinch the edges well on all sides.
Strain the sesame seeds and distribute them on a flat surface, roll the rolls over the sesame seeds until the sesame seeds are evenly distributed on them.
Carefully transfer the rolls to a baking sheet, previously lined with parchment, and put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30 minutes until golden brown. Cool and cut into portions.
