  • 200 gr. butter
  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 chicken eggs
  • Jam or any other filling of your choice
The recipe for bagels has been familiar to us since childhood - this is a very tasty and quick pastry.

Recipe for a bagel

First of all, we will make shortbread dough, for this we melt the butter so that they become soft, after that we mix it together with 1 cup of sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved, then break the chicken eggs into the oil and mix everything again.

Now add flour in small portions and stir all the time. We add flour until the dough becomes the density we need. It should easily fall behind your hands.

Now put the dough on the table and begin to knead, adding flour if necessary. As a result, the dough should be quite elastic and plastic.

We cut off a small piece from the finished dough and roll it into a layer, no more than 3-4 mm thick. We coat this layer with jam, jam or sprinkle with cinnamon (at your discretion). We cut the resulting layer into 8-16 parts, depending on the size of the layer.

We roll each of the resulting pieces into a roll.

We grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and put our bagels on it.

We send a baking sheet with bagels to the oven for 10-15 minutes. The oven should be preheated to 160-180 degrees.
