Say what you like, but winter beats all records in terms of the number of holidays. It's February, and fun and gifts await us again. Valentine's Day and Defenders of the Fatherland Day, one might say, are involved in love. And what could be more beautiful than this feeling? When else, if not on Valentine's Day, you can use the symbol of the human heart in innumerable quantities: pastries, cookies and cakes, desserts and holiday salads. Even a hot dish can be prepared in the shape of a heart, you just have to use your imagination. The Day of Defenders of the Fatherland, following on February 14, makes us remember that not everything and not always is so rosy in our “kingdom”. After all, a fairy tale cannot last forever! Perhaps the only time in a year we evaluate our men from this point of view - as defenders. Without too much pathos I can say: defender of the Fatherland - sounds proud. In civilian life, we rarely remember this, unlike those who serve in the army. But, one way or another, we women have long known that men need to be protected, which means that setting a festive table on this day will not be superfluous at all. And no matter what symbols you use in preparing your wonderful dishes, the main thing is that you are accompanied by love for those men who are nearby. Heart to Heart. And then everything will work out.

Valentine's Day Salad Recipe

1

Chicken meat, mushrooms and onions cut into small cubes, fry until tender on rast. oil. Cool down.

2

Grate cheese, carrots and walnuts on a coarse grater. Cut the eggs and peeled orange into cubes.

3

We combine all the prepared products, mix, season with mayonnaise. Arrange beautifully on a platter.

4

From the cheese we cut out hearts, from the orange peel - a rose. We decorate the salad with a rose, hearts, grated carrots and drops of mayonnaise.
