Pies with liver and potatoes
Bakery
- 1 chicken egg
- 500 gr. flour
- 400 ml sour milk
- 1 incomplete tsp soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 kg potatoes
- 350-400 gr. chicken liver
- 1 large or 2 small onions
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Recipe for pie with liver and potatoes
Pour sour milk (you can take kefir) into a deep bowl, add soda, chicken egg and salt, then mix everything well.
Sift flour into a bowl and knead a stiff dough. Leave the dough for 15 minutes, covering it with a towel.
In the meantime, peel and boil the potatoes (the water should be slightly salted). Mash the cooked potatoes into a puree.
Peel the onion, chop and fry it in vegetable oil.
We wash and clean the chicken liver from the films, then add it to the pan to the onion.
Fry the chicken liver for 8-10 minutes. from all sides.
Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan, then mash the chicken liver into a puree.
Hurry mashed potatoes with liver.
Now we separate small pieces from the dough, tell them into cakes and put the filling in the middle.
Wrap the pies from the dough and put them in the pan with the seam down.
Fry the pies on both sides.
