Pies with cabbage on kefir
Bakery
- Flour - 3 cups
- Baking soda - a third of a teaspoon
- Kefir - 1 cup
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
- salt on the tip of a knife.
- Cabbage (white) - 0.5 kg
- Onion - 1 head
- Tomato paste - 3 tbsp.
- Vegetable oil
- Pepper and salt - to taste
The recipe for pies with cabbage on kefir
We take a bowl, pour kefir into it and add soda (it will sizzle), mix and let stand for 5 minutes.
Then add flour, vegetable oil and salt.
Knead the dough from this mixture and let it rise in a warm place, it will take about 15 minutes.
While the dough is coming up, we will make the filling, for this: chop the cabbage and put it in a saucepan, fill it with hot water, salt and start simmering over low heat for 10 minutes.
Peel the onion and chop finely. Fry it in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Mix the fried onion with stewed cabbage and tomato paste, you can salt and pepper to taste.
Now we begin to sculpt pies, for this: we pinch off pieces of dough and roll balls out of it. Then we make a cake out of the ball and put our cabbage filling in the center. Fold and pinch the edges.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake pies with cabbage for 20 minutes.
