Ingredients
- Pine nuts - 3 tbsp. l.
- Sea salt (coarse) - 1 tsp
- Grated parmesan cheese - 100 grams.
- Fresh large basil - 1 bunch.
- Olive oil - 0.5 cups.
- Penne - 500 grams.
- Garlic - 2 cloves.
- To taste - ground black pepper.
Penne is a special type of pasta, which are tubes up to 40 mm long and 10 mm wide. The edges of such pasta are cut diagonally.
Pesto penne recipe

The very first thing you need to do is prepare the pesto sauce. Wash the basil in water and dry. Peel the garlic. We take basil, garlic and cedar nuts and put everything in a blender and grind until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.

Whisking constantly, slowly pour in the olive oil. Add grated paremesan cheese. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Salt the boiling water and cook the penne according to the instructions on the box. Drain the penne in a colander, shake well and mix with the prepared sauce. Arrange on serving plates and sprinkle with pine nuts.
