Recipe for pasta baked with cheese crust
1. Finely chop onion and garlic. Mix with minced pork. Add 70 ml of water, 4 tbsp. l. olive oil, salt, pepper and half chopped basil. Knead the minced meat well and roll it into balls with a diameter of 5-6 cm. Finely chop the sweet peppers, tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes and chili peppers. Mix vegetables with tomato paste, pour in 200 ml of water there, mix, salt, pepper and add sugar.
2. Cut mozzarella into small circles or slices. Cook pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente, following package directions.
3. Grease a deep baking dish with olive oil, pour in the vegetable sauce with tomatoes, put the pasta, meat balls, half of the mozzarella pieces and place in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 30-35 minutes.
4. Put the remaining pieces of mozzarella on the pasta. Raise the oven temperature to 220°C and bake the pasta for another 5-6 minutes until the mozzarella is slightly melted.
5. Remove the baked pasta from the oven, leave for 7-10 minutes, drizzle with olive oil and serve, garnished with basil leaves.
