Pasta with mushrooms
Ingredients
  • 500 gr. pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 medium leek
  • 100 gr. bacon
  • 150 gr. mushrooms
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons of port
  • 200 ml cream

Fry the onion in a saucepan, then spread the bacon and add the chopped garlic. Cook over medium heat, stirring for 2-3 minutes.

Now spread the chopped mushrooms, add the port wine and mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and cook the mushrooms for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. If you end up with a dry sauce, you can add a little water.

At the very end of cooking, add cream, as well as pepper and salt to your taste. Don't add too much salt as the bacon is already salty and you might overdo it.

We put the pasta on the stove, cook in salted water until almost ready.

Put the prepared pasta in the pan and mix everything. At this stage, you can also add the water in which the pasta was cooked.
