Ingredients
  • 50 ml milk
  • 1/2 sachet instant yeast
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1/2 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g sifted flour
  • a pinch of baking powder
  • 30 g chopped almonds or hazelnuts
  • 20 g raisins or candied fruit
  • 1 egg
  • 70 g soft butter
  • 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
  • 2 easter eggs
  • Salt

1. Dissolve the yeast in warm milk, add salt, regular and vanilla sugar there, mix.

2. Separately, mix flour with baking powder, then pour in milk with yeast, add nuts, raisins, egg, butter and knead a homogeneous elastic dough. Remove the dough in a warm place for 20-30 minutes.

3. Then knead the dough, roll small pigtails 15-20 cm long out of it. Connect the ends of the dough together to make a bagel with a diameter of 7-10 cm, put it on a baking sheet covered with parchment, put it in a warm place for 15 minutes, then grease it on top vegetable oil and make a small indentation in the center (for the egg). Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and bake the braids until golden brown for 25-30 minutes. Cool the finished pastry, insert an Easter egg into the recess and serve.
