Ingredients
  • Peeled nuts - 1 cup
  • Strong meat broth - 1 cup
  • Peeled garlic - ½-1 head
  • Hot red pepper (small) - 1 pod
  • A mixture of ground peppers and spices: allspice, black, white, green, red, cumin, dill seeds, coriander seeds, cloves - to taste
  • Suneli hops - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
Today we offer you a rather interesting, spicy sauce, plus it is extremely healthy. This is a Georgian walnut satsivi sauce. At one time, this recipe was brought from one Georgian village and remained the same as it was originally recorded. The main thing is that it is prepared simply and quickly, in just a few minutes, but then it gives the meat an extreme sharpness, taste and aroma.

Pass nuts and pepper pod twice through a meat grinder.

Boil the broth, add spices, salt to taste and mix.

Pour the boiled broth into the nuts and stir well.

Let sit for 10-15 minutes to thicken the mixture a little.

Pass the garlic through the garlic press into the nut mixture and mix well.

Cut or tear the meat into pieces and immerse in the sauce.

Let stand at room temperature for 2-3 hours.

The dish can be served on the table along with hominy, other porridge, pasta or boiled potatoes.
