  • 3-4 medium potatoes
  • 400 gr. boiled sausage, you can also take boiled chicken breast
  • 1 pickled cucumber (you can take fresh)
  • 2 small carrots
  • 1 can of green peas
  • 3 chicken eggs
  • Parsley, green onions, salt and mayonnaise to taste
Olivier, whose classic recipe you will now learn, is the most delicious and popular. Olivier is a traditional New Year's dish, without which not a single table can do, however, on a normal day, many are not averse to tasting this salad.

Boil potatoes in their uniforms, unpeeled carrots, chicken eggs must be hard-boiled. If you took the chicken breast, then also boil it until tender. You can deviate a little from the classic Olivier recipe and take boiled sausage, this will not spoil the taste of the salad at all.

Peel the boiled carrots and potatoes, then cut into small cubes. Peel the chicken eggs from the shell and also cut into cubes, about the same size as the potatoes. In the same way we cut cucumbers, sausage or chicken breast.

Add green peas to the Olivier ingredients and salt to taste.
