Meat with prunes
Ingredients
  • 1 kg beef
  • 400 gr. prunes
  • 100 gr. (1 pc.) onion
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 60 ml vegetable oil
  • 200 gr. tomato paste
  • 180 ml dry white wine (table)
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
To prepare this dish, you can use any meat of your choice, but in our recipe we will use beef. The recipe for meat with prunes is not at all complicated and the dish turns out tender and delicious. It is advisable to take sour prunes, everyone will like the dish, and if you take sweet prunes, then this is already an amateur.

Recipe for cooking meat with prunes

Cut the beef into small pieces and fry in a preheated pan with vegetable oil.

After frying the meat on each side, transfer it to a thick-walled pan, add spices and salt.

In the pan in which the meat was fried, pour in the wine and let it boil a little, then pour it into the meat.

Cut the onion into strips and fry until translucent.

Add tomato paste to the fried onion and simmer for a couple more minutes.

Put the finished onion on the meat and simmer for an hour under a closed lid, if there is not enough liquid in the pan, then add water.

Wash the prunes (pitted) and add them to the meat and mix.

Continue to cook for about 30 more minutes, until the meat is completely tender.
