Almond halva

Almond halva
Ingredients
  • 200 grams of almonds
  • Quarter teaspoon vanilla
  • 80 grams of butter
  • 120 grams of granulated sugar
  • 80 grams of wheat flour
Almond halva reminds many of us familiar halva, but this recipe has its own zest. Almond halva is not so cloying and not crumbly. The most delicious is the cooled halva, which has just been taken out of the refrigerator.

Recipe for almond halva

1

Pour boiling water over the almonds for a few minutes, after which we clean them from the husk. Lay it out on a paper towel or towel to dry for at least 1 hour.

2

We take a pan, pour 200 ml of water into it, add sugar and put on fire. Let the sugar liquid boil for 5 minutes.

3

Grind the almonds using a blender. You need a small crumb, so we twist for 5 minutes.

4

Melt butter in a deep frying pan, add almonds and half a glass of flour, fry until golden brown.

5

Now add sugar syrup to the pan and season a little. Add a little vanillin, literally at the tip of a knife.

6

Lubricate the bowl with butter, put the resulting mixture into it and send it to the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

7

Serving to the table, remove the halva from the mold and cut it into cubes.
