Honey-lingonberry kissel
Drinks
- 5 cups lingonberries (can be defrosted)
- 150 g honey
- 3 art. l. very finely ground starch or rye flour
- 1 liter of water
Recipe for honey-lingonberry jelly
1. Put the lingonberries in a sieve, put a saucepan on the bottom to collect all the juice. Squeeze out the berries. Remove the juice from the refrigerator.
2. Pour the pomace from the berries with water, bring to a boil and cook for 10-15 minutes. Strain, cool and also put in the refrigerator (this can be done in advance).
3. Before serving, bring the juice to a boil over low heat, dissolve honey in it and cook for 3 minutes.
4. Separately, mix the starch (flour) into a small amount of lingonberry water (from under the pomace of berries). Mix well and pour into the remaining lingonberry water. Add lingonberry water to boiling juice. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens. Serve warm.
Happy drinking!
