Ingredients
  • Chicken fillet -1 kg
  • Sweet pepper - 4 pcs.
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt
  • Onion - 2 heads
  • Garlic - 6 cloves
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
  • Tomatoes in their own juice - 800 gr.
Tired of the usual chicken dishes? Try to diversify the menu by cooking chicken fillet in tomato sauce according to our recipe. The dish turns out a little unusual, but very tasty and unique.

Recipe for chicken fillet in tomato sauce

Cut the chicken meat into small pieces.

Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan (you can take a thick-bottomed pan) and heat it up. Fry the chicken fillet until golden brown. Transfer the cooked meat to a plate.

Cut the onion into half rings, finely chop the garlic cloves. Put the vegetables in a saucepan and fry them for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

We clean the pepper and cut into strips, after which we add it to the saucepan to the onion. We continue to fry for another 5 minutes.

We return the chicken fillet to the saucepan, add the tomatoes in their own juice there.

Bring the liquid to a boil, reduce the heat slightly and continue to cook until the pepper is soft under a closed lid. This usually takes about 25 minutes.
