Chicken baked with lemon
Second courses
- chicken - 700 g;
- lemon - ½ pc.;
- honey - 1-2 tbsp. l.;
- sour cream - 2 tbsp. l.;
- salt, spices - to taste.
Lemon baked chicken recipe
First of all, if your honey has had time to sugar, then melt it in a water bath or in a microwave. Rub the chicken on all sides with a mixture of salt and spices. Cut the lemon into pieces, mix with honey and pour the mixture over the chicken. Mix everything thoroughly, while squeezing the pieces of lemon so that the juice comes out. Marinate the meat in this honey-lemon mixture for 40 minutes.
Then remove the meat from the marinade and transfer to a baking dish, while the marinade is not added to the chicken. Add lemon slices to the chicken and brush it with sour cream. Preheat the oven to 200°C and send the chicken into it.
The chicken should be baked for 40 minutes, gradually lowering the temperature in the oven. In no case, sour cream, which is smeared with chicken, should not burn. Ready chicken is served sprinkled with herbs, potatoes and lemon wedges.
