Chicken in pepper
Second courses
- pepper (Bulgarian) - 6 pcs. (choose large, smooth)
- chicken fillet - 2 halves (or 1 - whole large fillet)
- tomatoes - 3 pcs.
- yogurt (unflavored) - a few tablespoons (if not, replace with sour cream)
- cheese - up to 200 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- salt, pepper, herbs - to taste
Pepper chicken recipe
1. Wash all vegetables well.
2. Peel the pepper, cut into two parts horizontally, leave the stalks so that each half has a bottom.
3. Finely chop the chicken fillet.
4. Tomatoes must be peeled, so dip the tomatoes in boiling water for 1 minute and then easily remove the skin. Then finely cut into cubes.
5. Next is the turn of the onions: they must be finely chopped.
6. Mix all chopped filling ingredients (step 3-5) with yogurt. We mix everything.
7. We prepare a baking sheet: heat the oven to a temperature of 180-200 degrees, and cover the baking sheet with foil, because. can stand out a lot of juice from vegetables and chicken meat.
8. Put the halves of peppers on a baking sheet, fill them with stuffing. Leave in the oven for 40 minutes.
Then we take it out, three cheese on top of each peppercorn and send it to bake for another 10 minutes so that the fragrant cheese melts and takes on a golden crust.
