Chicken with Lemon and Thyme

- 200 gr. chicken thigh
- 1 lemon
- 20 ml olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 gr. chicken drumstick
- 20 ml butter
- 15 gr. thyme
- 100 ml dry white wine
Lemon Thyme Chicken Recipe
We put the oven to warm up to 200 degrees.
We take the chicken and put it in the dishes in which we usually cook in the oven. It is better to take dishes with thick walls. Season the chicken with pepper and salt.
Remove the zest from one lemon and mix it with a teaspoon of dried thyme (if using fresh thyme, use 2 tablespoons). Also add a tablespoon of softened butter, finely chopped garlic and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Rub the chicken with the resulting mixture.
Cut the lemon into pieces and lay it on the chicken.
Now take the dry wine and pour the lemon over the chicken. All alcohol will evaporate, and a very pleasant taste and aroma will remain.
Send the chicken dish to the preheated oven and wait for 40-45 minutes. During cooking, you can add a little wine if it seems to you that the meat is getting a bit dry. It is also recommended to turn the pieces of meat several times so that the chicken is better baked. Also, for juiciness, you can water the meat with juice, which is collected in a baking dish.
