Chicken in Portuguese
Ingredients
  • 400 grams chicken fillet
  • 100 grams of mushrooms
  • 100 milliliters of port wine
  • Half head of onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • Salt, ground pepper to taste
A very tasty dish. For a side dish for such a chicken, you can cook mashed potatoes.

Prepare the chicken fillet by washing and drying with a paper towel. Then carefully roll it in flour and send it to fry in a frying pan heated with vegetable oil. Fry for 5 minutes on each side.

Next, remove the fillet from the pan, and send finely chopped onions to the pan. Fry it until golden brown and add finely chopped mushrooms to it, fry for just a few minutes and pour in the port wine, cook the sauce over low heat until the port wine is slightly evaporated and you get the sauce of the desired consistency. This will take approximately 15 minutes.

Next, beautifully serve the dish by placing the fried chicken fillet and mushroom sauce on a serving plate.
