Pork knuckles with mushrooms
Second courses
- Pork (fillet) - 1 kg.
- Champignons - 800 gr.
- Onion - 2 heads
- Flour - 5 tbsp.
- Vegetable oil - as needed
- Spices - to taste (oregano, basil, marjoram, thyme, salt, pepper)
Recipe for pork chops with mushrooms
We wash the pork and cut it across the fibers into pieces, the thickness of which should not exceed 1 centimeter. The resulting slices carefully beat off, salt and pepper.
We chop the onion and pass it in a pan, add pre-chopped mushrooms, salt and add the necessary spices to taste. Cook the pork for 10 minutes, until almost all the liquid has evaporated.
Set aside 2-3 tablespoons of mushrooms, they will be useful to us for further stewing of pork rolls.
We spread the resulting mushroom filling in each of the chop, wrap the meat in a roll and tuck the edges so that the filling does not fall out. We fix the twists with skewers.
Roll the krucheniki in flour and fry them in a frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil. It is necessary to fry on both sides until the rolls acquire a golden hue.
We shift the pork knuckles into a saucepan, add the reserved mushrooms, fill everything with water so that the knuckles are completely hidden, add salt and spices to taste.
Cook on low heat under a closed lid for 40-45 minutes.
