Shrimps with spices
Ingredients
  • 24 large shrimp with head
  • 2 shallots
  • 3 garlic cloves 1 lemon
  • 4 sprigs thyme
  • 4-5 sprigs of parsley
  • 150 g butter
  • 100 ml dry white wine
  • 3 art. l. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp. l. Cajun spice blend
  • 1 st. l. ground smoked paprika
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt
Very tasty shrimp, however, it takes about 4 hours to cook them, due to the long marination.

1. Cut the lemon into thin half rings. Peel and finely chop shallots and garlic. Melt the butter in a large roaster, put all the ingredients except parsley into the butter, mix, close the lid, remove from heat and leave to marinate for 4 hours.

2. Place the chicken over medium heat, bring the mixture to a boil and cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until the shrimp change color, about 6 minutes.

3. Arrange the shrimp along with the sauce on deep plates and serve immediately.

Note: Shrimp are best cooked in a good, thick-bottomed skillet. You can buy a frying pan the right size at hozdom.com. In a good frying pan and a pleasure to cook!
