Raf coffee with rum

Raf coffee with rum
Ingredients
  • 1 double espresso (60 ml)
  • 30 ml dark rum
  • 100 ml whole milk
  • 30 ml cream with 20% fat
  • 15-25 ml vanilla syrup or 1 tbsp. l. natural vanilla sugar
Despite the origin of rum - and these are, for example, the countries of the Caribbean, where the climate is extremely favorable, the drink itself has long been traditionally considered warming for the most unpleasant winters. It is enough to warm it up and mix a simple cocktail. The most famous is rum punch with fruit juice, wine and spices. Another classic variation is the pairing of rum with ginger, either fresh or in the form of, say, a ginger martini. Warming hot-butter rum is made on the streets of Hamburg in winter: with apple juice, sugar and a piece of butter. But it seems that there is nothing “atmospheric” than hot rum with coffee - in the form of traditional Irish or, for example, rum coffee that is fashionable this winter: espresso, whipped cream, cinnamon, ginger and good old dark rum!
