  • Potato - 1 kg
  • Milk - 200 ml
  • Butter - 50 g
Mashed potatoes are perhaps the most popular side dish in Russian cuisine, which we will cook now.

Peel the potatoes and put them in a bowl. Fill with water so that the potatoes are completely hidden and add a little salt.

We put on fire and cook under a closed lid until the potatoes are ready, it usually takes about 20 minutes. You can check readiness with a knife by piercing potatoes.

At the end of cooking, drain the water from the pan, pour milk into the potatoes and crush it well so that there are no lumps.

After the potatoes have turned into a puree, add a piece of butter, and mix until the butter is completely mixed.

Peel potatoes, wash and cut into pieces.

We put it in a saucepan from a multicooker and fill it with water, just above the level of the potatoes.

We salt the water and turn on the slow cooker in the extinguishing mode and cook for 1 hour.

After an hour, drain the water, add milk with butter and crush so that not a single lump remains.
