Before you start cooking potatoes, I want to tell you a little background. Somehow, passing by a tent with potatoes in the market, my attention fell on the price. Potatoes were given almost for free, at 8 rubles per kilogram. However, this potato was small, seed, it was the same size as cherry tomatoes. It seemed to me that such small potatoes would look very good on the table. To begin with, we limited ourselves to a simple dish, an ordinary jacket-baked potato with garlic. By the way, now the season of young potatoes begins, so you can take small young potatoes.

The first step is to thoroughly rinse and peel the potatoes. If you use young potatoes, then you need to wash them so as not to damage the young skin.

Pass the garlic through a press or finely chop and crush with a knife. Then we mix garlic with pepper and salt, add oil to it and mix everything.

We coat our potatoes with the resulting mixture.

We put the oven to warm up to 200 degrees. Meanwhile, spread the potatoes on a baking sheet or any form. We send the form for 20 minutes in the oven. Baking time may vary depending on the size of the potatoes.

After the time has passed, take the potatoes out of the oven and put them on a plate.
