Hot salad with potatoes, cucumbers and capers
Salads
- Potatoes - 6 pcs
- Fresh cucumbers - 1-2 pieces
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Cream - 1 cup (full)
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Dill - 1 bunch
- Green onion -2 feathers
- Salt - to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper
Recipe for hot salad with potatoes, cucumbers and capers
Wash the potatoes thoroughly, place in water and cook "in their uniforms". Boiling time for potatoes is 20-30 minutes. Drain the water and peel the potatoes. Cut the peeled potatoes into 1.5 cm cubes.
Cucumbers, using a teaspoon, get rid of the seeds, then chop the pulp. Chop the onion very finely. Heat a frying pan, add oil and fry the capers, cucumbers and onions over high heat. Then, reduce the heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes along with the cream.
Add pre-cooked potatoes. Wait until it boils again and remove from heat. Finely chop the greens. Season the main mixture to taste, add herbs and serve hot to the table.
If you are a vegetarian and do not eat animal products, then feel free to replace the cream with vegetable oil, on which you will fry the onions and capers, and then just add cubes of boiled potatoes and pickled cucumbers. Bring to taste with salt and pepper. Well, an unusual version of a delicious salad is ready - hearty and appetizing.
