Meatballs in tomato sauce

Ingredients
- 1 kilogram minced meat
- 50 grams of breadcrumbs
- 0.5 cup milk
- 2 chicken eggs
- 1 head of onion
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 50 grams of grated cheese
- 400 ml tomato sauce
- Greens to taste
- Salt, ground pepper to taste
- Soak the bread crumb in milk for at least 20 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the finely chopped onion in a frying pan with oil until golden brown.
- Take a suitable deep bowl and combine in it the fried onion bread with milk, eggs, chopped herbs, grated cheese, salt and ground pepper. Mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed.
- Add minced meat to this mixture and mix everything thoroughly again.
- Next, proceed to the formation of meatballs. With wet hands, take a small amount of minced meat and form it into small balls.
- Spread the resulting meatballs on a pre-prepared baking sheet. Send the baking sheet to the oven preheated to 220 degrees.
- Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes, then pour them with hot, tomato sauce. Stew meatballs in tomato for another 10 minutes. The tray can then be removed from the oven.
Meatballs can be served with any side dish of your choice. It can be pasta, cereals or any vegetable side dish. This dish can be attributed to home cooking dishes; meatballs can be served both for lunch and dinner. The dish turns out tasty and satisfying.
